Elephant trunk nebula Ic1396 in sho palette. Picture was stacked in astro pixel processor and taken with the camera oriented in two different positions to create the cross.
There is a very subtle difference in the two pictures below of the Sadr region of the Milky Way. The middle picture is the region shown in the images.
This nebula lies in the constellation of Cassiopeia. The bubble is formed from stellar wind blowing off of a very hot star 7100 light years away.
The wizard nebula is located in the constellation of Cepheus. It is located about 8500 light years from earth. This is a sho image taken from one night of shooting.
My favorite thing to image in deep space. Stars that are about to form are called bok globs. The are dense formations of gas and dust.
This is the witches broom veil nebula and the entire veil nebula complex at 2000mm and 200mm. The last picture is of the witches broom at 2800mm and is a 4 panel mosaic. This is a remnant of a supernova 1400 to 2400 light years away.
